Evans Memorial Hospital is a 49-licensed bed not-for-profit acute care hospital located in Claxton, Georgia. EMH offers an exceptional range of medical services and is fully accredited by the DNV Healthcare Inc./NIAHO . We have full medical capabilities, with an outstanding active medical staff, including a 24-hour, physician-staffed Emergency Department. Active medical staff specializing in family practice, internal medicine, and general surgery are available. The family practice providers also see pediatrics.

Outpatient & Imaging
Services
A wide array of outpatient services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The latest technology in imaging services is available including MRI, 64-slice, low dose CT scanner, and DEXA scanning capabilities. With a full range cardiopulmonary department, we are able to perform most procedures right here including pulmonary function testing, stress tests, holter monitors, ECHOs, and EKGs. We also have a fully accredited clinical laboratory.
The Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center
The Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located across from the hospital and is staffed by a physical therapist and physical therapy assistants. An aquatic pool is also available. Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center is also an approved Silver Sneakers Program site.
